About the artist

Born in 1985 in Yokneam Moshava, Israel, Doron Langberg currently lives and works in New York City. He received his MFA from Yale University School of Art and holds a BFA from the University of Pennsylvania.

This spring, the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston will feature Langberg’s work in the major group exhibition A Place for Me: Figurative Painting Now (31 March–5 September 2022). Work by the artist is currently on view at RISD Museum, Providence, Rhode Island (until 13 March 2022). He was recently featured at The Frick Collection’s temporary residence at Frick Madison, NYC, as part of Living Histories: Queer Views and Old Masters (30 September 2021–23 January 2022).

Additional recent institutional exhibitions include Intimacy: New Queer Art from Berlin and Beyond at the Schwules Museum, Berlin, Germany. His work is in collections including The PAFA Museum and RISD Museum.
